İGA's annual meeting, an event that brought together the company's staff, was held this year with the theme 'Big Family'
İGA Airports, assigned with the construction and operation of the Istanbul New Airport, hosted its annual meeting with participation from its employees. The event will be held every year under the name "İGA Skywalkers", while this year's edition had the theme 'Big Family'
The event's hosts were Nihat Özdemir, Cemal Kalyoncu and Mehmet Nazif Günal, members of the İGA Board of Directors, and Yusuf Akçayoğlu, CEO.
Delivering the opening address, Nihat Özdemir, member of the İGA Board of Directors, said: "With a passenger capacity of 150 million, an indoor area of 1.3 million and six runways, we are building what will become one of the largest airports in the world. When complete, the project will become a source of national pride, and it is essential that we join forces as a family and work with a team spirit in order to realize this goal."
Expressing the pride they took in from working on the greatest project in the history of the Republic of Turkey, Yusuf Akçayoğlu, CEO of İGA Airports, said: "On this project that will open a new horizon for Turkish aviation, we are working with a team that will make its mark on the next 25 years. I recognize that the strongest drivers behind our success are the quality of our human resource and our team spirit."
As part of the event, employees who completed their second year at İGA Airports received their plaques, and Mithat Erdoğan, winner of the "Got an Idea?" contest whose idea for a mobile application was selected for implementation, was awarded with a gift certificate. The event also included a panel attended by Members of İGA Airports Board of Directors, followed by a presentation on unifying leadership, delivered by leadership and management thinker, Fazıl Oral.
